Uniform

It is our policy that all children should wear school uniform, a high standard of personal appearance is expected of all pupils. We believe that uniform plays a valuable role in contributing to the ethos of the school and helps set an appropriate tone. It instils pride,  supports positive behaviour and protects children from social pressures to dress a particular way. We believe that if you take pride in your appearance you will also take  the same pride in your studies.

Hair should be worn in a simple, neat style; natural hair colour should be worn during term time.

Make-up is not permitted (for instance, mascara, eyeliner, blusher, lipstick, nail extensions and coloured nail varnish).

Jewellery is restricted to one pair of small plain gold/silver studs and a wristwatch. Smart watches should NOT be worn in school. Other visible body piercings are not acceptable. Permission may be given to wear other jewellery for religious reasons. We do not accept any responsibility for jewellery brought into school.
