REWARDS

We understand that children should be rewarded for positive behaviour and value their contributions both within and beyond lesson time. We have regular achievement and celebration assemblies, where children's efforts and achievements are recognised. There are a range of rewards that a pupil can receive for demonstrating our core values (being Considerate, Ambitious and Proud) as well as progressing as a learner by demonstrating the "3R's" (Responsible, Resilient, Reflective)

BEHAVIOUR & DISCIPLINE

The aim of the school is that the children should develop an increasing awareness of self-discipline and understand the need for self-control. Clear school rules for behaviour are in place and enforced to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children. We always value the support that parents provide in reinforcing this code.
KEEPING PUPILS SAFE
We want all pupils to feel safe and secure in school. To this end we work closely in partnership with parents and carers and occasionally outside agencies. There are effective, Behaviour, Anti-Bullying and Safeguarding Children policies. There are specially trained Child Protection Officers, First Aiders and two Pastoral Assistants on the staff. The school has a comprehensive Health & Safety policy with procedures designed to ensure the safety of all our pupils.
