A SCHOOL TO BE PROUD OF
“Codsall Middle School is a friendly and happy school. Pupils are proud to be members of the school community.
Lessons are exciting and help all pupils to do well. At the end of lunchtime, pupils are eager to get to their next lesson.
At the end of the school day, the school is an exciting place to be”.
Fundraising for Guide Dogs
From the 8th March when our students return to school, CMS pupils will once again have fundraising at the top of their 'CONSIDERATE' agenda, as they aim to raise £1,000 for Guide Dogs. To contribute simply 'click' on the JustGiving logo below, where one lucky person will get to name a puppy
Codsall Middle School is a very special place and I am delighted to welcome you to our website.
Situated on the edge of rural South Staffordshire the school caters for the needs of a wide, ever increasing catchment area. We are a happy, high achieving school. Our vision is to create a safe and secure environment where pupils are excited about learning and staff are passionate about teaching. We pride ourselves on promoting traditional values such as honesty, respect and politeness, as well as enjoying the latest technology, teaching methods and resources. However, above all, we want our children to be happy, have confidence and possess a real zest for life. We believe that our core values, “Considerate, Ambitious, Proud”, should form the basis of all we do and are a fundamental reason for our continuing success as a school.
At Codsall Middle we are committed to supporting every pupil as they flourish both academically and personally. I have high expectations of all in our school community, and believe that the partnership between school and parents is crucial to the successful development of the pupils in our care. In essence, we expect our pupils to engage fully with school life as we help them to develop into mature “Codsall citizens”.
This is only the briefest of introductions to our school which we are proud of in so many ways. You can tell a great school as you walk through the door and I would encourage you to come and visit us, speak to our pupils and feel the sense of warmth, commitment and excellence we provide for our children.

Visible Learning means an enhanced role for teachers as they become evaluators of their own teaching. According to John Hattie Visible Learning and Teaching occurs when teachers see learning through the eyes of students and help them become their own teachers.
